Less than 2 to go

Well the resignation has been handed in and preparations are continuing along the way nicely! Moved out of 21 High yesterday. It seems weird that 23 years of life seem to fit into so few boxes. My stuff is currently in a pile in the middle of the floor of the spare room at Lilla's new house - will upload some photos. Her family are moving in next weekend so I am sort of between the 2. Am on my way to Adelaide next week which should be good. Having a massive dinner at an Argentinian restaurant on the Friday night with about 30 of us so it will be good to see everyone, then got Jolley & Beck's wedding on the Saturday - going to be a very big weekend!

Visas for the UK have been approved, slight change to the flight itinerary now flying directly from NY to Barcelona & have pretty much sold my car, everything seems to be falling into place nicely!

Take care of yourselves, whoever you may be and don't forget to drop in for updates!

Cheers,

2 1/2 Months yet, but fuck I'm pumped

I am absolutely pumped about my trip away.
The Fiji trip earlier this year certainly confirmed my need for travel!

South America is going to be so much fun!
My Spanish is rusty, but my livin life skills are certainly ready for a run for their money. Pretty much everything is organised now, have started sending away for Visas, started paying off the airfare ($4k worth), have been immunised, all there really is to do left is to pack, say goodbye to my amigos & board the plane.

It's going to be a rocking ride & this is pretty much how it's gonna go down;

Dec 27: Nat Departs 4: Santiago, Chile
Dec 31: NYE: Vaipariso, Chile
Jan 02: Mendoza: The wine & steak capital of Argentina (need I say more)
Jan 05: Head South: Explore the Argentinian & Chilean Andes, Glaciers & Forests
Jan 24: Fly 2 meet Lilla: Buenos Aires, Argentina
Jan 24: Explore: Argentinian Coast, Uruguay, North of Buenos Aires & Foz de Iguazu
Feb 06: Explore: The beautiful Brazilian Coast & Islands
Feb 26: Party: Carnival - Rio de Janeiro
Mar 03: Travel: Up the North Coast of Brazil to La Amazon

It starts to get a little less planned from here but the general idea is to head through the jungle into Bolivia, back into the North of Chile, Head North into Peru, Ecuador, Columbia & Venezuela. We then jump on a plane to Miami for a week before flying back south to Jamaica, boating to Cuba & then flying to Panama where we will wind our way back North through Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico and on to LA before finally leaving the Americas via NY for the UK.

To relax after this little adventure we then plan to head south to Spain & Portugal to wind down a little before having to come face to face with reality and finding a job in the hustle & bustle otherwise known as London.

Sounds pretty good, doesn't it!

Can't wait.

Looking forward to hearing about your travel plans!

3 weeks until the final countdown

Well I've pretty much been busted now.

Looking forward to handing in the old resignation very shortly so I can be on my way to bigger and better things!

Sur America, yo voy!
